Short Bio
Around mid 2017, during their gatherings at the miradouro of Santa Catarina in Lisbon, Wagner Cidreira, Aleh Santos and Theu Nasci decided to pull their experiences to create a new musical project. This was the birth of PLANTADA, a Reggae New Roots band with a Brazilian touch. The family grew with the arrival of Glayson Lacerda, Sadik Alfoson and António Rocha.
In the spring of 2018, the first fruits of their work became known to the public, with the release of the band's first EP entitled "SEMENTE PLANTADA" (PLANTED SEED) an EP with five original songs recorded independently in the outskirts of Lisbon. The track "DOENÇA CULTURAL" (Cultural Illness) was the first single and first video clip of the band.
In the summer of 2018, Plantada was invited to take part in the 20th edition of MUSA FESTIVAL CASCAIS, the largest reggae festival in Portugal. The same year, the band perfomed at several other important venues such as the Festival of Avante in Seixal, the Sunset Festival of Arrifana in Algarve, the Festival of Colors in Alentejo, the "Reggae B.Leza" movement in the B.Leza Clube in Lisbon ...
